About InsureMe Quick Quote

South Africa's first personality-based insurance comparison platform

Our Story

InsureMe Quick Quote was founded with a simple mission: help South Africans get the right insurance coverage at the right price, without the confusion and pushy sales tactics.

We noticed that 60% of South African households have no life insurance, and 70% of those who do are either over-insured or under-insured. The problem? Traditional insurance comparison sites don't account for your unique personality, risk tolerance, and life situation.

That's why we created a platform that uses scientifically-validated personality assessments (the Big Five model) combined with your financial data to recommend insurance coverage that's truly personalized to your needs.

Transparency

We disclose our commission upfront and always recommend what's best for you, not what pays us most.

No Pushy Sales

We're advisors, not salespeople. You decide what to buy. No follow-up calls, no pressure.

Personalization

Our personality-based approach ensures you get coverage recommendations that match your unique risk profile.

Quality

We only work with reputable, FSB-registered insurers with proven track records of paying out claims.

Regulatory Information

FSP License Status: Application in progress

InsureMe Quick Quote is in the process of obtaining our Financial Services Provider (FSP) license from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). Until our license is approved, we operate as a comparison and information service, connecting consumers with licensed insurance providers.

All insurance products are underwritten by FSCA-licensed insurers including Clientèle, 1Life, OUTsurance, Hollard, and Old Mutual.

How We Make Money

We earn a commission from insurance providers when you purchase a policy through our platform. Our typical commission ranges from R200-R500 per policy, depending on the insurer and coverage type.

Important: We always recommend the best coverage for your needs, regardless of commission. We're legally obligated (under FAIS) to act in your best interests, and we take this responsibility seriously.
